Pav Bhaji

paav bhaji
1 tbsp – Oil 6 tbsp – Butter
1 ½ tbsp – Organic Tattva’s Red chilli powder 2 ½ tbsp – Organic Tattva’s Pav Bhaji masala
8 pcs – Ripe tomatoes chopped roughly 1 ¼ cup – Tomato puree
1 ½  cups – Finely chopped onions 2  ½ tbsp – Garlic, minced
3 pcs – Potatoes, peeled and cubed 1 cup – Capsicum, chopped
1 cup – Cauliflower florets 3/4 cup – Grated beetroot
1 ½ cup – Cooked green peas 1 cup – Water
Salt to taste For topping:
Fistful of cilantro, finely chopped Lemon wedges,
Finely chopped onions ,Dollops of extra butter
1. Switch on the Instant Pot (IP) on Sauté mode and add in 1 tablespoon oil and 1 tablespoon butter
2. Once warm, add in the onions and stir until translucent
3. Add in minced garlic, 1 tablespoon red chilli powder and 2 tablespoon pav bhaji masala. Stir for 10 seconds
4. Add in 1 cup of water and deglaze the pot
5. Add in everything else and give it a quick stir. Secure the Instant Pot’s lid
6. Cancel Sauté mode and press manual HIGH 8 minutes. Once the IP beeps, let the pressure come down naturally
7. When the silver pin drops, turn the knob to venting and carefully open the lid
8. Smash the bhaji with a potato masher or immersion blender
9. Add in 4 tablespoon butter, 1/2 tablespoon pav bhaji masala and give it a quick mix
10. Add in cilantro for garnishing, then let the bhaji cook in Sauté mode for 2 minutes before serving
11. Warm up the tawa. Slit the Pav and spread butter on both sides. Heat up the Pav on each side until warm
